This video shows us what Super Mario Brothers would have looked like if it was on the Atari 2600. There was a Mario game on the Atari, it was called Mario Brothers. SUPER Mario Brothers was on the Nintendo NES.

The Mario game on the Atari 2600 was called Mario Bros, this is how SUPER MARIO BROS would have looked on the 2600. Notice the use of the word SUPER. You know...the one from the NES?

Was the music possible on the Atari? could the cart hold all the levels? how would you shoot firballs or run fast without another button?

i dunno, seems way too smooth for a start. plus the music is all wrong & atari doesn't have enough res to do those floating "100"'s. spoilsport? non, i'd like to see the real thing for sure :)
