Some pretty useful tips for those who plan on being prepared for the zombie apocalypse. You can learn pretty much everything you need to know by reading Max Brooks’ Zombie Survival Guide, but the gardening tips in this video are pretty decent. After a long day of slaughtering zombies, you’ll be able to come home and tend to your plants and gardens.

My sidekick is Batman. That’s right. He’s my sidekick. Vehicle of choice would be a helicopter on the roof of my location. Either a mall, a Walmart, or a Costco. It would be heavily fortified and locked down of course. No need for an inventory when I have a lifetime supply of everything I need. Main weapon would be some sort of sniper rifle. Just to have some fun picking off random zombies from the roof of my stronghold. My secondary weapon would be dual wielded desert eagles. It doesn’t matter what my gear is, I’m untouchable. No need for last words, I’ll die of old age. Battle anthem; Photograph, by Nickelback. I’ll listen to it while staring at old photographs of what the world once was.

For those who haven’t played the demo, here is a little preview of the new melee weapons. How you can cut off a zombie’s head with a guitar, I do not know…but it’s still awesome.

Okay, so this is pretty common sense stuff. Do your best to avoid the flesh eating zombies. If you do come in contact with the carnivorous ex-living, your only chance is to destroy the brain. Then again, it really does depend on what type of zombie outbreak you’re dealing with. Are they fast or slow? The factor that could decide your fate. If they’re slow, you have a good chance of avoiding them, if they’re fast, you’d better do your best to avoid them. Disposal is another problem. It depends on the virus. Can it go airborne when incinerating the corpses? Your best bet for disposal is to call the Toronto Department of Zombie Disposal. Another good idea is to always keep an Emergency Zombie Kit in your car, in your home, and in your workplace.

This emergency zombie kit comes with the essentials, the bare minimum. It comes with a machete, for close combat and a shotgun for when you’re up against multiple flesh craving zombies. The lid to the kit also doubles as a riot shield, so you can block the lunging bites, throw the zombie to the ground, and beat it’s head in.

Keep in mind, these are only the first things you need in order to survive a zombie infestation. Instead of going into detail about shelter, food, and everything else you will need to survive such a thing, I’ll point you in the direction of the book that will save your life. I’m not sure who started this organization, but I give him or her praise for committing to do the dirty work, to do the things nobody else wants to do. Killing the zombies is the fun part. Check out the latest trailer for Zombieland! This is the new red band trailer, but if you haven’t seen it yet, watch the first Zombieland trailer as well.

There can never be enough zombie movies; never! I’m not sure which is funnier, the trailer, or the fact that Woody Harrelson is the main zombie killing badass.

I hope this movie can live up to the king of zombie parodies, Shaun of the Dead. Even though Shaun of the Dead was funny, it was a real zombie horror movie as well in my opinion. A guy had his guts eaten and limbs ripped off! Then his girlfriend fought off zombies with his severed limb! There’s absolutely nothing funny about that.

I know I’m ready for the zombie apocalypse. I’ve read the official Zombie Survival Guide multiple times. So if you haven’t, don’t come crying to me when a zombie is eating your face off. This is the latest trailer for Capcom’s Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, from E3 2009. This game is the followup to Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, and takes us through the story of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica.

The graphics are updated and the game is “on rails”, but watching this trailer just gives me a nostalgia attack. Growing up during the “Playstation era”, Resident Evil, especially Resident Evil 2, is one of my favorite games of all time. Sure, it’s not a remake, like many fans want, but it’s enough…for now.

The Darkside Chronicles hits the Nintendo Wii sometime towards the end of the year!

So the trailer was shown, but not much detail was given about the game. The graphics look totally different than Left 4 Dead. Now they look way more cartoon like, and reminds me a lot of Team Fortress 2. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing, or a bad thing. Then again, it was just a teaser trailer; no actual gameplay footage.

With Dead Rising 2 officially announced back in February, the masses have been eagerly awaiting it’s arrival. I’m pretty sure we can all assume the game will be a success. People love killing zombies, and by looking at the pictures and trailers already released, you can see this game is all about that.

There is no official release date yet, but there is talk about multiplayer. Imagine you and a couple friends, running around, slaying zombies, fighting for survival. That sounds like a good, family fun. Watch the trailer below, and be sure to check back for more E3 2009 coverage all week!

Chuck Greene is the new main character of Dead Rising. You can gather from this trailer, that he really, really, hates zombies. Be it a chainsaw on a pole, 2 chainsaws on a pole, chainsaws attached to a dirt bike, or a big fluffy teddy bear, Chuck will use whatever he can to take down these flesh eating beasts.

Dead Rising 2 was officially announced back in February, and was teased with this trailer. This is the second, and much better trailer. The first was just a teaser; which teased us all. It was announced that the game will be hitting the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, and the game will take place in a Vegas like setting called “Fortune City”.

We’ve also learned in the past few days, that Dead Rising 2 will have multiplayer. No specific game modes or player numbers were revealed, but this is still awesome news. Just imagine having 4, or 8, or possibly more human players in one game, at one time, using whatever items you can find as weapons to slay zombies. Now that sounds like a good family fun time.
