The official date for the Gears of War 3 beta has finally been announced!
Those who bought Bulletstorm for the Xbox 360 already have the beta code, and will get to play on April 18th. Just announced was another way to get into the beta. If you didn’t buy, or don’t plan to buy Bulletstorm, you can get into the beta on April 25th by pre-ordering Gears of War 3 at GameStop. A week later than those who bought Bulletstorm, but it’s better than not getting in at all.

The official Bulletstorm twitter account has announced that the Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta will start in April. The exact day was not specified, but hey, at least it’s something.
To play the beta, you’ll need to have bought Bulletstorm, and use the unique code found in the case. There has been talk of other ways to get into the beta, but nothing has been announced so far.
Also, Gears of War 3′s release date is finally set in stone. Originally set to come out in April, then pushed back to an October or November release, Gears 3 will now hit stores on September 20th. Check out the quick look at the multiplayer beta below.
