This thing isn’t just a big piece of useless plastic like most Wii accessories are. The wand holds both the Wiimote and nunchuk, and the pack has LED lights indicating which controllers are currently connected to the Wii, and how much battery power is left. Also, because the Wiimote is wireless, the wand is not connected to the pack, so you can use it to play all those “on rails”, arcade shooters for the Wii. Check out a video of this epic creation in action, along with more pictures, below. [GBFans]

Remember the last time somebody played a Wii on Live TV? When will they learn…? Playing with your Wii is fine, but only in the comfort of your own home. Maybe even a friend’s home.

Behold, the Darth Vader Wii Sensor Bar Holder! I know where my Wii sensor bar will be in a few days time. Comfortably placed inside the plastic lightsaber of this plastic Darth Vader accessory! Actually, it’s not even plastic. This is a fully licensed, Star Wars Wii product, and is “statue quality”. Whatever that means. Not only is this thing awesome to look at, it’s pretty cheap too. You can get one for around $35 at Newegg, Buy, and other online stores. More photos below… [Google Products]

So you get a stuffed toy accessory, you shove a Wiimote down it’s throat, and then you shake and bounce it around to control the character in the game. I so want this.

It’s hard to tell at the beginning of the video, so watch all the way through. After seeing it, I’m going to say has PC the best graphics, Xbox 360 second best, and surprisingly the PS3 with the worst of the three. I wonder if these graphics can hold up against the new Modern Warfare Wii port…

New Super Mario Bros. Wii hit shelves yesterday, and is definitely at the top of my list of games to buy. With all the Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and Assassin’s Creed II, it’ll be nice to give the Wii some attention and play a less bloody game. I doubt the mayhem level will change much though. With the new 4 player mode, I’ll be picking people up and intentionally throwing them down holes and into enemies, just to make sure I collect the most coins.

Evolution of Controllers Before you continue, I mean no offense to controller creationists. You may continue believing all controllers were made by the intelligent design of the almighty cloud dweller. Not even the Power Glove or original Xbox “fat” controller should shake your faith…

I love the NES controller, I enjoy the Wiimote/Nunchuk combo, and I hold my Xbox 360 controller even when my 360 is turned off. That being said, I think my favorite controller of all time has to be the Nintendo Gamecube controller.

Sure, Gamecube wasn’t the best console ever, but it was decent, still is, and the controller is amazing. Aside from the fact that it works with the Wii, the design and feel of it are perfect. The handles, the big shoulder buttons, the yellow nub, the smooth joystick, the huge “A” button, and even the unnecessary, but reliable D-Pad. Hate on Gamecube all you want; just leave the controller out of it.

Let’s hear what your favorite controller is in the comments. Check out the full picture below…
