If Social Networking Sites Were People

To sum it up, Myspace users are full blown douche bags, Twitter users are douch bags in the making, Facebook users are hipster douche bags, deviantART users are anime loving tweenagers, and Google is the disappointed father of it’s son YouTube.

It’s almost an accurate summary of most people on those sites, not all of course. I’m not sure what this says about me. I use Facebook, Twitter, and most importantly YouTube.

This is really an epidemic not just among the youth population, but with every age group. Moms on facebook, 12 year olds on Twitter, mindless guidos still using Myspace, and even the increasing senior population on social media sites. It’s even worse when people are so addicted, they post things on their Facebook wall, or tweet things on Twitter, even though they know nobody is reading them. I guess the first step is admitting your problem.

I am ashamed to admit it, but I’ve tweeted my share of useless tweets. I’ve tweeted that I’m about to watch a TV show, I’ve tweeted that I was eating dinner…oh man, I hope they’re not coming for me. Jason Bourne 4It looks like another Bourne movie is headed our way! It’s not that surprising giving how The Bourne Ultimatum ended.

Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass are signed on to return, and all they need is a screenplay and a shoot schedule. Producer Frank Marshall has tweeted some details concerning the next sequel for the super human spy, Jason Bourne. He said that Bourne Ultimatum and Oceans Twelve writer, George Nolfi “should have a draft by June”. The movie is in the works for a Summer 2011 release; two years away.
