Instead of dubbing over Star Trek with funny one liners and jokes, somebody decided to dub over Star Trek and actually match up words to their moving lips. It’s genius. I’m thirsty for apple juice now…

Star Trek hits theaters on May 8th!

If you’re not looking forward to seeing this movie, you’re probably the kind of person looking forward to the next High School Musical; or something else equally lame. Star Trek is a complete reboot of the franchise, and brings the classic to a whole new generation of eager sci-fi and movie geeks. This movie has generated so much buzz, the sequel has already been confirmed before the first hits theaters.

A few lucky people in Texas were the first to see Star Trek. They were surprised by Leonard Nimoy, the original Spock, at a viewing of the classic Wrath of Kahn; and the reviews have all been good.

Just a few minutes ago, I posted some new photos from Star Trek. Now we have a new TV spot too! This is probably one of the better TV spots I’ve seen for the movie so far. Lots of new footage.

If you’re not into Star Trek, or have never seen any of the shows or movies, I still suggest you see this. I know a lot of people who think of Star Trek, and think it’s some lame, old TV show; but this is not the case! This movie is for the new generation of geeks out there; for the people who have never been into the Trek. Of course, it’s for the old fans too. It’s a complete reboot of Star Trek, and as a fan, I’m definitely looking forward to it.

Star Trek hits theaters on May 8th, a little over a month away!

The three new images are of Zachary Quinto as Spock, Chris Pine as James Kirk, and Eric Bana as the villain Nero. Star Trek hits theaters next month, and a sequel has already been confirmed. There’s so much buzz for this movie, they don’t even need to wait for the box office numbers to announce the sequel.

J.J. Abrams, who directed and produced Star Trek, is already on board to produce the sequel, but is not yet confirmed to be the director. The script is still being worked on, and will possibly be finished by this coming Christmas, giving the sequel a release for the Summer of 2011. No word on casting. I assume the actors would return; let’s hope.

This might be one of the only times you’ll ever see a smile associated with anything related to Spock. As we all know, Spock is a Vulcan, and is driven by logic, not emotion.

Star Trek is a complete reboot of the series, for the new generation of sci-fi and movie geeks, and stars Chris Pine as James T. Kirk, Zachary Quinto from Heroes(Sylar), as Spock, Simon Pegg as Scotty, John Cho as Sulu, and Eric Bana as Nero. I’m looking forward to seeing this, and I’m guessing it’ll be one of the biggest movies on the year. Hopefully it won’t be overshadowed by the surrounding releases. Wolverine, Angels & Demons, and Terminator Salvation all come out in the same month.

Check out these 4 new clips from the Watchmen movie. Watchmen hits theaters on March 6th, and a new Star Trek trailer will be playing before it.

Paramount Pictures has announced that the third Star Trek movie trailer will premier in theaters on March 6th. I’m sure you can assume that it’ll be in front of Watchmen, because last time I checked, that’s the only movie people will be seeing on March 6th. So, go see Watchmen, and get to see a brand new Star Trek trailer; two wins in one night. Watchmen hits theaters on March 6th; less than a month away!

This new Star Trek trailer aired last night during the Super Bowl. It wasn’t the best of all the movie trailers that aired, but it is worth watching. It goes by fast but you can catch glimpses of McCoy, Sulu, Uhura, Spock, and of course, Kirk is seen throughout.

I’m wonder what will be the biggest movie of 2009. My prediction is, Star Trek, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, or Transformers 2 will gross the most, but who knows, there might be a surprise.

You should be satisfied that you get to look at these two black and white psoters. It should be enough to satisy your hunger for the movie. Right? Some new Star Trek photos have hit the web. Correct me if I’m wrong, but these are the first actual production photos, other than posters. We get to see Simon Pegg as Scotty, John Cho as Sulu, Chris Pine as Kirk, and Zachary Quinto as Spock. Sure, there are a couple more people in the photo, but who cares?  Is it just me or does Zachary Quinto’s evil looking Spock in this photo look too much like Sylar from Heroes?
