This post may contain spoilers up to the end of season 4. If you’re not to the end of Season 4 yet, DO NOT continue reading this post.
Hurray! Another Lost Season 5 preview! You can never get enough Lost. There’s only a little over a month until the premiere.
I wonder if Jack can persuade Kate, Sun, and Sayid to return to the island. I know for sure he’ll have no trouble getting Hurley to come back. I’m also wondering how Locke’s body got to where it is, how did he get off the island? Will Kate and Sawyer reunnite? Will Jack and Juliette get together? What will Ben’s role be in the series if he cannot return to the island? How will they find the island if they do eventually try to go back?
All these questions, all the mystery, and finally, the time is coming!
Lost season 5 starts on January 21st with a 1 hour clip show, followed by a 2 hour premiere!
Well, it’s that time of the year again. It’s a sad day, but still a great day. Any day Heroes is on is a great day. Terminator too…sometimes. Heroes and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, will be airing their final episodes of the year, tonight.
That doesn’t mean the season is over, the networks are just waiting to finish airing the rest of the season until early next year. I’m not sure of the dates when they will return, but I’ll post it when I am. I read that Terminator is returning in February, on Friday nights instead of Mondays. We can only hope the show doesn’t get canceled though.
At least we have Lost and 24 to look forward to in January. Heroes airs tonight at 9PM EST, on NBC and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles airs tonight at 8PM EST, on Fox.
If you have not watched this episode yet, or are not this far into the series, you should NOT read the rest of this post, as it most definitely contains spoilers.
So, the episode starts off with Hiro and Claire in the past, 16 years ago, overseeing the point where Claire is given to her adoptive father, Noah Bennet. Hiro witnesses his mother’s power to heal, and gets her to restore his memory, as well as give him the catalyst.
While Hiro is off changing the past, Claire goes and changes her own diaper when she acts like a neighbor and helps her mother with the new baby, which is her, in the past. Yeah, I know, all the time traveling can get a little confusing sometimes.
So now that Hiro is the catalyst, and Claire is not, who knows how their lives changed, if at all? We’ll never know because the show decided to make a big decision in the past, but have no consequence in the preset.
Claire and Hiro meet back up but Arthur Petrelli shows up. I didn’t even know he had time traveling power. He sent Claire back to the present, then he took Hiro’s powers, as well as the catalyst, and threw Hiro off the building.
Ando, Matt, and Daphne find Isaac Mendez’s old sketchbook, which shows the future, but in this case, it is showing the past, as it shows Hiro hanging from the building, from a flag pole. Yeah, like I said, all the time traveling can get confusing. So now Hiro is stuck in the past, with no powers, hanging on for his life.
Peter and the Haitian head to Pinehearst to kill Arthur Petrelli, Peter and Nathan’s father. Arthur senses Peter coming and confronts him. Arthur releases his powers are gone and the Haitian walks out. Peter aims the gun at Arthur, he battles himself to pull the trigger as Arthur tries to persuade him to join his cause. The Haitian can barely hold back Arthur’s powers, Peter finally pulls the trigger, the bullet stops in mid air. The camera pans over and it’s Sylar! Sylar stopped the bullet, talked a little, then said, “Peter, you’re not a killer.” Sylar then used his powers to make the bullet shoot right through Arthur.
So, some pretty big things happened in this episode. Hiro is stuck in the past, without his powers, Peter almost killed his father, but Sylar took the kill instead, and the catalyst is gone, as far as we know. With Arthur dead, I’m worried that Hiro and Peter may not get their powers back. I sure hope they do.
Heroes airs on Mondays, at 9PM EST, on NBC. There is only 1 episode left this year, and season 3 will conclude sometime early next year.
This is the 12th episode of season 2. If you haven’t watched this episode yet, or if you’re not this far into the series, I suggest that you DO NOT read the rest of this post, as it may contain spoilers.
Again, much like the past few episodes, nothing really big happened. Sarah and Cameron saved a family that has ties to Kyle in the future. I love this show, don’t get me wrong, but something interesting needs to happen in the next episode.
There is only one more episode airing this year, and the remainder of season 2 will air in February. Let’s hope the show finishes season 2 strong so it doesn’t get canceled.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles airs Mondays, at 8PM EST, on Fox.
