From the guys who make the, “Hi, I’m a Marvel…and I’m a DC“, videos.
With the Summer barely even here yet, Marvel and DC don’t have any big movies lined up, which is a surprise considering last year was a monster Summer with The Dark Knight, Iron Man, and The Incredible Hulk. What else can the Marvel and DC guys do…keep on trekkin’. Or wait for Iron Man 2.
This is actually a pretty good spoof on the Star Trek trailer. Seeing how Angels & Demons just beat Star Trek for the weekend Box Office, maybe they should have spoofed that. Nah, it wouldn’t have been as good.

Remember back when Spider-Man 3 came out? Of course you remember it; everybody remembers it. Well, back then, Sony said they were working on a spin-off movie starring Venom. Turns out, nothing has changed. They are still working on it.
A recent interview with the writers revealed nothing new. They said, “We’re under strict orders on Venom. We can’t talk about it. It’s just super secret.”
With Spider-Man 4 scheduled to hit theaters in May of 2011, when can we expect to see the Venom movie? Before or after? I just hope it doesn’t suck. I also hope Topher Grace is not playing Venom.

Obviously superheroes aren’t fighting crime all day and night. They have jobs, chores, hobbies, desires…
Here are some rare photos of our favorite heroes, doing what they do, when they’re not stopping super villains, saving the world, and making big box office movies.

Marvel has given updated release dates for 5 of their upcoming, guaranteed box office hits.
Spider-Man 4 has been given a release date of May 6th, 2011. The Spider-Man franchise, with the first 3 movies, has generated nearly $2.5 billion worldwide. That’s theatrical, not including DVD and merchandise sales.
Iron Man 2 is now set to open on May 7th, 2010.
Thor was originally set to open on July 16th, 2010, but is now set for June 17th, 2011; nearly a full year later.
The First Avenger: Captain America, is now opening on July 22, 2011, it was originally set for May 6th, 2011.
The Avengers, now opening on May 4th, 2012, was first set to open on July 15th, 2011.
The changes were made to give more exposure for the single character films, all leading up to the big show; The Avengers:
“This new schedule strongly sequences Marvel’s movie debut dates, big screen character introductions and momentum. It maximizes the visibility of our single character-focused films, leading to the highly anticipated release of the multi-character The Avengers film in 2012,” said David Maisel, Chairman, Marvel Studios.

This trailer is epic in every way. Spider-Man, and Spider-Man alone, against a world that’s fallen into darkness and evil. What will Spider-Man do? The choice is yours. This has to be the best Marvel and Spider-Man game I’ve ever seen. I haven’t even played it yet, and I’m not afraid to assume that. The last Spider-Man game I played was Spider-Man 2 on the Gamecube. I like the style of this game, dark, and a lot of apocalyptic feeling. It seems like Fable a little. You can choose your own path and be the good guy, or be a little evil by wearing the black symbiote suit. Oh, and Symbiote Wolverine, pure win. This game slings onto store shelves on October 21st, the same day as Fable II. Looks like a pricey week for me.
