Check out this developer walkthrough for DC Universe Online. You can choose to be a hero or a villain, customize your powers and appearance, and of course, since it’s an MMO, you can PVP and do quests.

I’m really looking forward to this game. I’ve quit the World of Warcraft probably for good, and I think this is the kind of MMO I really want to play. This footage isn’t that exciting, but at least we get to see a little bit of how the game works. I do like the way this game looks, and the idea of being a hero or villain, having epic battles with actual people, but I think I’d rather play Marvel Universe Online. Nothing against DC, but Marvel just has a lot more great characters and stories.

DC Universe Online is being released on the PS3 and PC. I’ll definitely be getting this one for the PC. I can’t really imagine playing an MMO on a console. The release date is not set yet, but look for it before the end of the year.

Watch the 2nd part of this video after the break.

I wasn’t sure how I felt about Push when I first saw the trailer. It looked kind of low budget and poorly made. After watching all the damn trailers again, seeing how I can’t watch TV for 30 minutes without seeing one; I’m starting to get interested. I feel like Push might be a little like Jumper, and I liked Jumper. I don’t care how many people hated it. I might go see Push, I like “superhero” movies and stuff…I might be too busy watching Heroes though.

This was the final episode of the year, but not the final episode of the season. Heroes is returning early next year, which is pretty soon.

If you haven’t seen this episode yet, DO NOT read this post. Spoilers ahoy!

Hiro is now safe in present time. Ando took the drug, giving him powers. Apparently, his power can charge up the powers of other heroes. He gave Daphne a charge, and using her super speed, she traveled through time, grabbed Hiro, and brought him to the now. Hiro and Daphne then went and destroyed the formula. Now that Ando has power, will he kill Hiro? Remember in the beginning of the season, Hiro went to the future and saw Ando killing his future self, right before the city was destroyed by who something still unknown. Now, Hiro is powerless, let’s hope he regains his power.

I won’t go into too much detail, you can watch the episode for yourself. Sylar trapped Noah, Angela, Claire, and Meredith, and played a “game” with them, trying to get Noah to kill, and trying to make Claire decide between her father’s life, or Angela’s life, who is her real grandmother.

After everything was done, Sylar was put down by Claire when she jabbed something into the back of his head. The episode ended without showing Sylar again, so there’s no telling if he’s really dead. I think we can say with confidence that Sylar will come back to life once the thing in his head is pulled out during an autopsy, followed by him saying, “Holy shi-”. They’ve done that with Claire and Noah already, why not do it with Sylar and continue the joke?

Peter along with a couple villains took down Pinehearst, destroyed all the drugs, and before the building came crashing down, Peter injected himself with the drug, giving him the ability to fly, and he saved Nathan. Nathan can already fly, so he should have saved his own ass.

I have a feeling Peter’s original power is back though. Maybe the injection gave him his power back, and since he was near Nathan, he absorbed the power of flight.

If you have not watched this episode yet, or are not this far into the series, you should NOT read the rest of this post, as it most definitely contains spoilers.

So, the episode starts off with Hiro and Claire in the past, 16 years ago, overseeing the point where Claire is given to her adoptive father, Noah Bennet. Hiro witnesses his mother’s power to heal, and gets her to restore his memory, as well as give him the catalyst.

While Hiro is off changing the past, Claire goes and changes her own diaper when she acts like a neighbor and helps her mother with the new baby, which is her, in the past. Yeah, I know, all the time traveling can get a little confusing sometimes.

So now that Hiro is the catalyst, and Claire is not, who knows how their lives changed, if at all? We’ll never know because the show decided to make a big decision in the past, but have no consequence in the preset.

Claire and Hiro meet back up but Arthur Petrelli shows up. I didn’t even know he had time traveling power. He sent Claire back to the present, then he took Hiro’s powers, as well as the catalyst, and threw Hiro off the building.

Ando, Matt, and Daphne find Isaac Mendez’s old sketchbook, which shows the future, but in this case, it is showing the past, as it shows Hiro hanging from the building, from a flag pole. Yeah, like I said, all the time traveling can get confusing. So now Hiro is stuck in the past, with no powers, hanging on for his life.

Peter and the Haitian head to Pinehearst to kill Arthur Petrelli, Peter and Nathan’s father. Arthur senses Peter coming and confronts him. Arthur releases his powers are gone and the Haitian walks out. Peter aims the gun at Arthur, he battles himself to pull the trigger as Arthur tries to persuade him to join his cause. The Haitian can barely hold back Arthur’s powers, Peter finally pulls the trigger, the bullet stops in mid air. The camera pans over and it’s Sylar! Sylar stopped the bullet, talked a little, then said, “Peter, you’re not a killer.” Sylar then used his powers to make the bullet shoot right through Arthur.

So, some pretty big things happened in this episode. Hiro is stuck in the past, without his powers, Peter almost killed his father, but Sylar took the kill instead, and the catalyst is gone, as far as we know. With Arthur dead, I’m worried that Hiro and Peter may not get their powers back. I sure hope they do.

Heroes airs on Mondays, at 9PM EST, on NBC. There is only 1 episode left this year, and season 3 will conclude sometime early next year.

If you haven’t watched this episode yet, or are not to this point in the series, I suggest you DO NOT read the rest of this post, as it may contain spoilers.

So, in the first part of the Eclipse, all our Heroes and Villains lost their powers. In the second part of the Eclipse, all our Heroes and Villains regained their powers. Yes, it is as simple as that. A few pretty big things happened while the powers were gone though.

Claire was shot, and without her healing powers, she became infected, and she actually died for a little while. Noah Bennet shot Elle in the leg as he aimed for Sylar. Sylar helped Elle get away, only to get a beating by Noah, and get his throat slit with a box cutter. When the eclipse passed, Claire came back to life, as did Sylar. Sylar and Elle went to get revenge at the Bennet house, but Hiro shows up, teleports them to a beach, them takes Claire into the past to see when she was a baby, being given to Noah.

Other than that, Nathan ditched Peter in Haiti, and it looks like he’ll be joining the “dark side”. Hiro is still trying to regain his memory, and it looks like the eclipse passing didn’t give regain Peter his powers.

I have a theory that Peter’s main power has returned, but all the powers he has gained over the first 2 seasons are gone. His main power is that he can absorb the powers of those around him. So hopefully he’ll start regaining his powers, and it looks like he’ll need to do it fast as Sylar looks like a bad guy again, and Arthur Petrelli is still a threat.

Oh, and as the episode ended, Sylar held down Elle on the beach, and started to cut her forehead open. This angers me as Elle was the hottest thing on the show. Sylar already has her power, so why he did this, I do not know…

Heroes airs on Mondays, at 9PM EST, on NBC.

This episode aired on Monday, November 24th, 2008. If you haven’t seen this episode yet, or if you’re not this far into the series, I suggest you do not read the rest of this post, as it may contain spoilers.

So the eclipse came, and I want it to get the hell out! In season 1, when the eclipse occurred, our heroes and villains discovered their powers for the first time. When the eclipse came on Monday, in season 3, everybody’s powers went away. Suresh is no longer a mutant freak, Elle can longer shoot electricity, Claire can no longer heal, Hiro can no longer control the time-space continuum, Matt can no longer read thoughts and control minds, Daphne is no longer a speedster, she is crippled, Nathan fell out of the sky, and Sylar and Arthur are no longer godly. There is no change for Peter, as his father, Arthur, had already taken his powers, and Hiro still has memory loss, and believes he is 10 years old.

Since this is a two part episode, I’m hoping this Monday, the eclipse will pass, and the powers will return. Hopefully Peter will get his power back as well. The preview for the next episode shows Claire on the verge of death after a bullet wound, and it also shows Noah Bennet looking at Sylar and Elle kissing through a sniper rifle. Since Sylar has no powers, including his healing power he took from Claire, if he is shot, it’s over, he’s dead, same for Elle. Please, please don’t kill Sylar or Elle, they are falling in love, and a great duo.

Heroes airs at 9PM EST, Monday nights, on NBC.

This is the episode that aired last night, and is the 9th episode of the 3rd season. If you haven’t watched it yet, watch it before reading the rest of this post.

There is a lot of talk about Heroes losing it’s ratings, and having a bad story going on right now. I have to say I agree for the most part. Peter has lost his powers, Hiro has lost his memories, and Sylar and Elle are still hanging out with the villains.

I think Sylar and Elle will eventually join the Heroes, as Sylar pretty much already has, and they’ll fall in love, which looks like has already started during this episode. I think we need some new, more dangerous villains. I don’t care much about Arthur Petrelli, and the guy who shoots fire, and the guy who can punch holes through people are all pretty much insects compared to the godly powers of Sylar and Peter. If there isn’t a new super villain soon besides Arthur Petrelli, the Heroes won’t have anybody to have an epic battle against in the future.

Then, the preview for the next episode, with everybody losing their powers. If nobody has powers, the show is over, nobody wants to see a bunch of normal people with issues, we want to see super powers. I have a feeling everybody will get their powers back with the formula Suresh is making, but it won’t be the power they had before, it’ll be something different.

Heroes comes on Mondays, at 9PM EST, on NBC.
