The MacManus brothers are back and ready to kill! Was it just me, or did I see Rocco at 1:38 into the trailer? I know he’s dead so it must be a flashback or something. Julie Benz from Dexter is looking hotter than ever. If you’re a fan of the first movie, you’ve probably been waiting for this sequel for a long time. Well, the wait is over. After a near 8 month delay in the release, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince finally hits theaters on July 15th, two weeks away!

Okay, this actually looks pretty awesome. I love vampire movies, I love end of the world kind of stuff, and I love nicely put together trailers. When I say “vampire movies”, I mean real vampire movies. Not Twilight. No offense if you’re a teenage girl.

Daybreakers takes place in the year 2019, and the population of Earth is made up of vampires. he last of the humans are dieing out, thus, taking the blood supply with them.

It’s definitely a unique idea. Instead of humans being the majority, with a few vampires running around killing them, everybody is a vampire, with a few humans running around trying to survive! I’m pretty sure I saw the blood farming thing done in Blade Trinity though…if that can even be considered a legitimate vampire movie.

After watching this trailer, I’m even more impatient for the next episode of True Blood on Sunday.

Daybreakers is set for release on January 8th, 2010.
