Exactly what the title says; this is the first look at Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder himself, in Marvel’s upcoming Thor movie. There’s not much more to say, as this is the only production still of the movie to be released so far. So enjoy it; envy the glorious golden, flowing hair. [Yahoo!]

Could it be? The first Iron Man 2 trailer? Really? Yes! It is! Finally! Now all that’s left is the wait. May seems so far away. I think this short trailer alone looks better than most of the Marvel movies in the past decade. Not that they were all bad, but this is Iron Man 2! Iron Man 2 dammit! Scarlett Johansson deliciousness, Tony Stark badassery, and an Iron Man and War Machine team up; this trailer is epic.

From the guys who make the, “Hi, I’m a Marvel…and I’m a DC“, videos.
With the Summer barely even here yet, Marvel and DC don’t have any big movies lined up, which is a surprise considering last year was a monster Summer with The Dark Knight, Iron Man, and The Incredible Hulk. What else can the Marvel and DC guys do…keep on trekkin’. Or wait for Iron Man 2.
This is actually a pretty good spoof on the Star Trek trailer. Seeing how Angels & Demons just beat Star Trek for the weekend Box Office, maybe they should have spoofed that. Nah, it wouldn’t have been as good.
Surprise? Probably not. Even with an unfinished version of the movie leaked to the internet last month, Wolverine still dominated the weekend’s box office numbers, and clearly wasn’t affected by piracy. People love mutants, people love X-Men, people love Hugh Jackman; it’s not hard to see why people went to see this movie.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine topped the charts this weekend with $87 million! I think we can say the movie is a success. Obviously the movie is still going to make much, much more money before leaving theaters. I think this gives a good sign to 20th Century Fox to hurry up and get X-Men Origins: Magneto into theaters.
Though Wolverine had a great opening weekend, with all the other big movies coming out this Summer, I doubt that’s going to be the highest opening weekend number we see.
