This game is looking better and better every time I see it. This trailer makes it look like you’re playing Splinter Cell…as Batman…with Batman’s gadgets. Yes, please! Look for Batman: Arkham Asylum, hitting shelves for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC on June 9th.

ledgeroscar1Heath Ledger has won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor; for his portrayal of The Joker in the The Dark Knight.

I’m glad to see Heath Ledger win this award. It’s definitely well deserved. Just because The Dark Knight was a comic book movie doesn’t make it less significant than Slumdog Millionaire, Milk, or The Reader. Ledger took the role and made it what it is. The Joker can never be played again without comparison to what Ledger did.

Congratulations Heath, and rest in peace.

This game is starting to look really good. I was skeptical at first, but then I realized this wasn’t a movie game. Games based off movies are always horrible, no exceptions that I know of. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing more trailers and gameplay footage. It’s too soon to decide if it’s a buy or not; for me at least.

So, the Dark Knight is now out on DVD and Blu-ray. Still haven’t seen it? Why not? What the hell is your problem? You think you’re better than a Batman movie? Oh, you went to see Mamma Mia instead? You deserve to not be alive anymore.

Now of course seeing movies on the big screen is always better than watching it at home, but if you happened to not witness the biggest event of the year, you can now at your own home.

The Dark Knight was released on DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, November 9th, and not surprisingly, sold like hot cakes. Dark Knight sold 3 million copies on DVD, and 600,000 copies on Blu-ray, on the first day alone! I can account for 1 of the DVD buys.

The economy is in the crapper, people cannot find jobs, but nobody can afford to pass up seeing The Dark Knight.

It looks like the United States release of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe will be censoring The Joker’s fatality. I’m assuming that if they censor The Joker’s, they’ll be censoring others as well. I don’t believe the censoring has been confirmed, but the video shows it. Notice the zooms in on The Joker before he shoots the other guy in the head. When The Joker’s fatality was first revealed, you saw the entire thing, headshot and blood. To see the full, uncensored fatality, watch THIS VIDEO.

Here we have it. The first ever look at The Joker’s fatality in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. Hands down, the best fatality I’ve ever seen, but of course, we haven’t seen all of them yet. Worlds collide on November 16th, one month away!
