Back in Time Delorean License Plate

This has to be one of the best license plates I’ve seen…and I’ve seen a lot of them. Not only is the plate awesome, but the car too. I would kill for a Delorean. I would sell my first born for a normal Delorean. I would sell my first and second born if the Delorean was a movie replica. Everytime I gave somebody a ride, I’d be sure to tell them, “Roads? Where we’re going we don’t need roads.” I’d say that even if they hadn’t asked a question.

batmanhaircutI’m not sure what to say. This is just pure awesome. Anybody willing to shave their hair into Batman is alright in my book.

I guess this kid just woke up one day and said to himself, “Today; I’m going to get the most kickass haircut of all time.” He then proceeded to eat a bowl of nails for breakfast and shave with broken glass.

This is way better than the Hairdouken.

Skip about half way through to see the transformation. Too bad this guy is probably getting paid minimum wage to stand in front of a car dealership. Maybe if they paid him a bit more he’d quit being so lazy and pull his foot in so the tire fits and maybe he wouldn’t let his stupid human fingers show under the car…amateur.

Geek Deal Games Under $20

Gamestop is having a pretty big sale right now. You can get games like Street Fighter IV, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Bioshock, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, Madworld, and many more for only $19.99! Even more, they’re NEW, not USED! Aside from the NEW games for $19.99, other games like Assassin’s Creed is on sale for $14.99, Grand Theft Auto 4 for $19.99 and Fable 2 for $24.99.

I went over to Gamestop at 10AM this morning when they opened and picked up Bioshock, The Force Unleashed, and Street Fighter IV, all new, for $20 each. You can either go to a store, or order online at Gamestop.com. Also, google for some coupon codes to get free shipping and maybe even more discounts if ordering online. Hurry though, the deals are only good for a couple more days, and I’m sure NEW games at low prices will sell out fast.

UPDATE: Some of the $20 games are no longer available online, but are still on sale in stores. Specifically, Street Fighter IV is sold out on the website, but I just picked a copy up from the store less than an hour ago.

LEGO Half-Life

I’m not sure what the headcrab is. Is it a plastic turkey or something? Does LEGO actually make Half-Life sets?

Girl with Star Wars TattoosI’m not sure if you guys will believe this, but a female, an actual female, has been spotted sporting several Star Wars tattoos. From what I see, my count is at least 15 separate Star Wars tattoos. Now this is my kind of woman.

I guess if  I saw her at the beach, I wouldn’t be embarrassed if she saw my Star Wars beach towel, or my Star Wars swimming trunks. We can’t be totally sure if this really is woman though. If only we had Admiral Ackbar around to warn us.

Check out a larger photo below, and while you’re at it, here are some more Star Wars tattoos.

geekplate13Here are 25 geeky license plates for your inspiration. Or, if you’re lazy and unoriginal, you can just copy them for your own car; if it’s not already taken in your state of course.

I have to say, my favorite is the “O Hai” one. I guess I’ve been brainwashed by all the damn lolcats and cute animal pictures with quotes on them. They’ve taken over the internet, I can’t go a day without seeing at least one.

If you have a geeky license plate, and want it added to the gallery, email it to me at tips@geekstir.com. Check out the gallery below and as always, click to enlarge.

Star Wars Trash Compactor Book Ends

Okay, so maybe I was pandering to the prequel haters with that title. What can I say? I’m riding shotgun in the bandwagon. I don’t know about you guys, but I could definitely feature this on my DVD shelf. It’s awesome. Whoever came up with the idea is a modern day genius.

They are 6 inches deep, 12 inches Wide and 7.5 inches high, made of high quality poly-stone, and they’re individually hand painted. They also come with a unique number and certificate of authenticity.

Sadly, these bookends are only for pre-order right now. They start shipping in April 2010 according to the website. Right now they’re on sale for $189.99, originally $199.99. Pricey, but a definite must buy if you want to show off your Star Wars DVD collection or book collection with style.

On sale at StarWarsShop.com

Star Wars TattoosIn honor of all the Star Wars geeks out there, including myself, here are 25 tattoos; possibly for inspiration. Some weird, some awesome, some overkill.

I spent a few minutes trying to think up a few puns for this post, but I failed miserably. I wonder where these people got their tattoos done. Probably on Tattooine…or at a shop in the Darth Mall. See? That’s all I got.

Light Sabertooth TigerSabertooth tigers are awesome. Lightsabers are also awesome. What do you get when you combine the two? A Light Sabertooth Tiger of course.

Here is a t-shirt that any geek…or animal lover, must have. It comes for both guys and girls, and costs only $18 $15. Threadless user Tobias Fonseca created this. I didn’t realize anybody was actually named Tobias outside of Arrested Development.

So, if you have $18 $15 to spare, and need something to cover the upper half of your body, go pick up this shirt at Threadless.com.
