Ok, so as you read in my past posts about the Dragonball movie, I, along with the majority of Dragonball fans, have skepticism that this movie will be decent enough, or grossing enough, to warrant a Dragonball Z sequel.

This trailer is better than the old ones. I’m pretty sure it’s the first time I’ve heard Piccolo’s voice. I’m surprised; it sounds a lot like the voice from the anime. Having said that, I’m still not excited about the movie. I will see it though.

Will Ferrell stars as has-been scientist Dr. Rick Marshall, sucked into one and spat back through time. Way back. Now, Marshall has no weapons, few skills and questionable smarts to survive in an alternate universe full of marauding dinosaurs and fantastic creatures from beyond our world—a place of spectacular sights and super-scaled comedy known as the “Land of the Lost”. – MovieWeb

It’s horrible quality, and it’s in Japanese, but hey, it’s better than nothing. Or is it?

I’m hoping they didn’t ruin the movie by not sticking to the source material. There’s no Krillin in the movie for one. How can they do that? They decided to just cut one of the main characters out, like it was nothing important. I grew up watching Dragonball, and Dragonball Z, and from all the trailers I’ve seen so far, I’m not impressed or even excited to see the movie. Of course, I will see it, because I love Dragonball; that doesn’t mean I’ll like the movie though.

Dragonball Evolution is being released on April 8th…

“To theaters, it will come.”

After all the push backs, Fanboys is FINALLY coming to theaters. Sounds like good news, but it’s really not. The movie is only going to be released in the following cities on February 6th:

  • Austin, TX (1 screen)
  • Chicago, IL (3 screens)
  • Houston, TX (3 screens)
  • Los Angeles, CA (10 screens)
  • New York, NY (10 screens)
  • Philadelphia, PA (5 screens)
  • San Francisco, CA (6 screens)
  • Seattle, WA (3 screens)

If the movie does well, it’ll get a wider release in the following weeks. I’m not too confident that the movie will hit my home town, even if the release is wider.

Flickr user Legohaulic, an obvious LEGO fanatic and movie buff, has created one of the best LEGO creations I’ve ever seen. Sure, it’s not as complex as some big star ship or battle scene, but it’s still a great job.

baleblowup2

Back in July, TMZ reported an incident on the set of Terminator Salvation. They said that actor Christian Bale threw a fit, shouting expletives and threatening to kick the ass of the director of photography.

Well, it looks like the audio from that tirade is now online, in all it’s glory. I listened to it, and it’s not that big of a deal, but some people might think he’s one of those “diva” actors now. I agree with Bale in the audio, but I think he went a little overboard. Sure, Bale is a rich actor, making yet another movie, but still, he’s working, and when somebody messes up his work, he gets extremely pissed off. That being said, I can’t wait for Terminator Salvation!

You can listen to the full audio of the Christian Bale blow up, just click on “View Full Story”; and yes, I used a photo of Batman for this post.

This aired during last night’s Superbowl. I can easily say it was my favorite of all the new movie spots, closely followed by Angels & Demons, and Star Trek.

The video is very short, but still very satisfying. Yeah; short and satisfying.

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen will crush the box office on June 26th.

This new Star Trek trailer aired last night during the Super Bowl. It wasn’t the best of all the movie trailers that aired, but it is worth watching. It goes by fast but you can catch glimpses of McCoy, Sulu, Uhura, Spock, and of course, Kirk is seen throughout.

I’m wonder what will be the biggest movie of 2009. My prediction is, Star Trek, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, or Transformers 2 will gross the most, but who knows, there might be a surprise.

Star Trek beams into theaters on May 8th.
