Decent trailer. I would have liked to see some new gameplay footage though. Watch a much more exciting Tekken 6 trailer HERE.

Wow. This video is epic beyond belief. I actually hope they keep this Japanese music in the opening cinematic for the English version of the game. It suits it well, and probably better than some crappy American pop song.

Street Fighter IV hits shelves in Japan on February 12th, in North America on February 17th, and in Europe on February 20th. It’s being released on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. It’s been out in arcades in Japan since July 2008, and will be getting a later release for PC this year.

Tekken isn’t as popular as the other fighting franchises like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Soul Calibur, but it holds a special place in my heart. I’ve always liked it. Ever since I put the first Tekken into my Playstation 1, over 10 years ago.

This trailer is kind of boring in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and watch the trailer that I posted back in December; here.

Tekken 6 is scheduled for a Q4 release in North America.

Sure, I like Tekken. I used to play it a lot back in the day on my Playstation 1. It doesn’t hold a special place in my heart like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, or the best fighter ever, Clay Fighter, but it’s still a fun game.

Now, about this trailer. Is it just me, or is this one of the most action packed trailers for a fighting game…ever? Seriously, just watch it. Slow motion motorcycle jumps with shit blowing up behind you, slow motion matrix like punches, all the shattering glass, and all the beautiful Japanese hair. Like the trailer says, the game comes out “Autumn 2009″.
