They’re calling the game “Dead Space: Extraction”. Sure, the graphics won’t be as amazing as Xbox 360 or Playstation 3, but I’m glad to see the Wii getting more and more games that aren’t shovelware; like balloon popping and dart throwing games. Look for Dead Space on Wii towards the end of the year.

Battlefield 1943 is being released on the Xbox Live Arcade, PSN, and on PC as a downloadable game.

I really wish they’d make this a full game though. I was addicted to Battlefield 1942 for years, and the online play is still thriving, even though it’s been out since 2002. So this video shows the basic gameplay; you spawn, you kill, you die, you respawn, kill some more, and repeat. The game is pretty much just a graphical upgrade for Battlefield 1942, along with some new gameplay features like melee, destructible buildings, and unlimited ammo.

Expect to download this beauty sometime this Summer.

EA is taking the Battlefield franchise back to WWII. This is awesome news. I played Battlefield 1942 religiously for years, and I still play it occasionally when I’m bored. It’s not hard to find a full server either. The trailer shows Wake Island, a map from BF1942, and it looks so much better now.

Battlefield 1943 is only a downloadable game, and will be release on Xbox Live, PSN, and on PC. I really think they should make this into a full game; I would buy it. Why not? Thousands of people are still playing BF1942 online, right now, as I type this. You can play with 24 people at once, fighting all over Wake Island, trying to gain control of it. It sounds like fun, but on PC, if I can remember right, the player cap for BF1942 was 64 players.

People love violence, so I’m sure people will love this trailer. I never played the first Godfather game, but I just might have to check this one out. Nut kicks, headshots, and arm breaking action is hard to say “no” to. Check out EA’s Godfather II homepage.

“In a city where information is heavily monitored, agile couriers called Runners transport sensitive data away from prying eyes. In this seemingly utopian paradise, a crime has been committed and now you are being hunted. You are a Runner called Faith – and this innovative first-person action-adventure is your story.”

Check out the new TV spot for Mirrors Edge. Have you played the demo yet? It’s available for download on Xbox Live, so I assume it is on PSN as well. I played the demo, loved the demo, then I played it a couple more times. I really wish it was longer, it’s definitely one of the shortest demos I’ve bothered playing in a while. It was fun, and it looked beautiful, but still, as I’ve said in the past, I don’t think this game is going to be worth the $60 price tag. Maybe when you can get it used for $30 or $40. Of course, that’s just my opinion. A lot of games aren’t worth their price tag, but are still very good games.

I think this game is 100% unique, I’ve never seen a game like this before. I’m also interested in playing it, but I just don’t think it’ll be worth the $60 price tag when it comes out. Maybe I’ll pick it up off eBay for a little cheaper or wait for it to be around $30.
