This shows you just how cool, or maybe how weird the Japanese are. Try this in America and I have no doubt in my mind, that some redneck will pull his concealed gun out and kill you, then use the terlet and chew on some tobaccer.

Wow. As a Wii and Xbox 360 owner, this video makes me sad. I love my 360, I love my Wii(sometimes), but this is ridiculous.

If you can afford a Wii, you can afford a 360, so go get one. This has to be one of the worst game downgrades ever. Usually ports are an upgrade. Less zombies, no driving, no camera, horrible graphics, and you can’t even cut people in half with a katana! What the hell is up with that? Did they not want to show that on the Wii, or did they just not take the time to make the animations?

So, missing gameplay features, and not so beautiful graphics; I have to recommend that Wii owners only buy this game if you have the money to blow, and you absolutely don’t want to invest in something worth the money…like an Xbox 360.

Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop, for the Wii, is out now. Dead Rising for the Xbox 360 is also out now; it has been for more than 2 years. Dead Rising 2 is coming out for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, but no release date is set yet. Do yourself a favor, and get the Xbox now, so you can play the REAL Dead Rising, and Dead Rising 2 when it comes out.

Just a quick look at the game for anybody who’s wondering. It looks like a fun game, but not for $50. Maybe $19.99 or $29.99 since it’s “on rails”.

Skip to 5 minutes in for the goods.

They’re calling the game “Dead Space: Extraction”. Sure, the graphics won’t be as amazing as Xbox 360 or Playstation 3, but I’m glad to see the Wii getting more and more games that aren’t shovelware; like balloon popping and dart throwing games. Look for Dead Space on Wii towards the end of the year.

I like the House of the Dead games; they’re always fun. I can’t see myself spending $50 for an “on rails” game though. If I want to play a game like this, I’ll go to an arcade; if I can find one; or just pop in House of the Dead on my Sega Dreamcast. House of the Dead: Overkill is on shelves now; only on Wii. Good thing it’s on the Wii, since that’s the only current generation console with any sort of zapper; even though the Wii Zapper is just a plastic case for the Wiimote to sit in. Watch the trailer above and see some actual gameplay footage after the break.

Wow, I can’t believe it. DLC for free? That’s amazing. Any DLC I ever want costs money, even if it’s just a little gamer picture. Valve has announced that the DLC that features “Surviva” and “Versus” will be free to Xbox 360 and PC owners.

That’s it I guess…What else is there to say or comlain about? It’s free!

dr2Yes! Finally! Here comes the zombie apocalypse; it’s beautiful. Last week, a viral video hit the interwebs; it was believed to be a trailer for Dead Rising 2. Turns out, it was. Watch that video here. Capcom has officially announced Dead Rising 2. This time it will not only infect the Xbox 360, but the PS3 and PC as well. The game takes place a few years after the first, and the infection has spread throughout the entire United States. You’ll be killing zombies in Fortune City, and the main character is no longer Frank West. So, new location, new main character. No release date yet; the game is still in development. Check out some screenshots below. – Joystiq
