Batman and Robin Sign.

Ahhh…Batman and Robin. I haven’t seen the duo together since that Oscar worthy movie back in the 90’s. Too bad Mr. Freeze stole the screen with his chilling dialogue.

SuperheroesObviously superheroes aren’t fighting crime all day and night. They have jobs, chores, hobbies, desires…

Here are some rare photos of our favorite heroes, doing what they do, when they’re not stopping super villains, saving the world, and making big box office movies.

Check out the photos below; click to enlarge…

We’ve seen a few trailers for Batman: Arkham Asylum, but now we finally have some gameplay footage, from GDC09! I’ve played most of the Splinter Cell games, and this sort of looks like Batman playing Sam Fisher. That’s not a bad thing. This is the way a Batman game should be; hiding in the shadows, beating baddies down, using gadgets like James Bond. Check out the video, and check out the game when it hits stores in June.

This game is looking better and better every time I see it. This trailer makes it look like you’re playing Splinter Cell…as Batman…with Batman’s gadgets. Yes, please! Look for Batman: Arkham Asylum, hitting shelves for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC on June 9th.

ledgeroscar1Heath Ledger has won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor; for his portrayal of The Joker in the The Dark Knight.

I’m glad to see Heath Ledger win this award. It’s definitely well deserved. Just because The Dark Knight was a comic book movie doesn’t make it less significant than Slumdog Millionaire, Milk, or The Reader. Ledger took the role and made it what it is. The Joker can never be played again without comparison to what Ledger did.

Congratulations Heath, and rest in peace.

Check out this developer walkthrough for DC Universe Online. You can choose to be a hero or a villain, customize your powers and appearance, and of course, since it’s an MMO, you can PVP and do quests.

I’m really looking forward to this game. I’ve quit the World of Warcraft probably for good, and I think this is the kind of MMO I really want to play. This footage isn’t that exciting, but at least we get to see a little bit of how the game works. I do like the way this game looks, and the idea of being a hero or villain, having epic battles with actual people, but I think I’d rather play Marvel Universe Online. Nothing against DC, but Marvel just has a lot more great characters and stories.

DC Universe Online is being released on the PS3 and PC. I’ll definitely be getting this one for the PC. I can’t really imagine playing an MMO on a console. The release date is not set yet, but look for it before the end of the year.

Watch the 2nd part of this video after the break.

This game is starting to look really good. I was skeptical at first, but then I realized this wasn’t a movie game. Games based off movies are always horrible, no exceptions that I know of. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing more trailers and gameplay footage. It’s too soon to decide if it’s a buy or not; for me at least.
