Apple: Evolution of the MacFor all those Apple Fanboys out there, and I know you’re out there, here is a little history on the evolution of the Mac and it’s accessories.

Personally, I’m a PC guy. Only because I’m practical, and buy a computer that does what I need it to, for a good price. Don’t get me wrong, those MacBooks look great, and OS X looks great, but for the price of a Mac, you can get a PC with double or triple the RAM, a bigger hard drive, bigger screen, and an equal processor for the same price, or even cheaper. But hey, if you’re rich enough to buy one, go for it! I do own an iMac G3 though. Got it for $5, fully functional with the original keyboard and hockey puck mouse!

Check out the evolution of the Mac below…

Spider-Man 4 Iron Man 2 Thor Avengers Captain America

Marvel has given updated release dates for 5 of their upcoming, guaranteed box office hits.

Spider-Man 4 has been given a release date of May 6th, 2011. The Spider-Man franchise, with the first 3 movies, has generated nearly $2.5 billion worldwide. That’s theatrical, not including DVD and merchandise sales.

Iron Man 2 is now set to open on May 7th, 2010.

Thor was originally set to open on July 16th, 2010, but is now set for June 17th, 2011; nearly a full year later.

The First Avenger: Captain America, is now opening on July 22, 2011, it was originally set for May 6th, 2011.

The Avengers, now opening on May 4th, 2012, was first set to open on July 15th, 2011.

The changes were made to give more exposure for the single character films, all leading up to the big show; The Avengers:

“This new schedule strongly sequences Marvel’s movie debut dates, big screen character introductions and momentum. It maximizes the visibility of our single character-focused films, leading to the highly anticipated release of the multi-character The Avengers film in 2012,” said David Maisel, Chairman, Marvel Studios.

deathlyhallowsreleasedate1Warner Bros. has announced that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II will be hitting theaters on July 15th, 2011. Seems like so far away, but don’t worry; that’s for Part II.

The seventh and last book will be split into two movies. A thing I’m happy about, because I’m sick of seeing the books butchered to fit into a set time limit.

So, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 opens on November 19th, 2010, and Part II the following Summer on July 15th.

The sixth movie, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is still set for release this year, on July 17th. It was originally supposed to come out last November, but was pushed back to this Summer.
