Watch the Trailer for 9This is probably the most interesting trailers for an animated film I’ve seen so far this year. Sure, Up looks like it will be another great movie from Disney and Pixar, and the buzz about Toy Story 3 is exciting, but it’s refreshing to see different companies coming out with unique ideas every once in a while.

9 is an animated film about the end of humanity. The machines are taking over, destroying civilization. Sound familiar? Probably. This movie, to me, is like a mix between LittleBigPlanet and Terminator. Sackboy is…John Connor.

Do yourself a favor and watch this trailer, it’s well worth the time. Not only can you get a taste of what looks like a great movie, but you get to listen to a great choice of a song, “Welcome Home”, by the band Coheed and Cambria.

Angels & Demons MovieAnother new TV spot for Ron Howard’s Angels & Demons has hit the web.

Angels & Demons is the second Dan Brown novel to be adapted to film, following The Da Vinci Code. I’m definitely hyped up about this movie. It’s one of my favorite books, and I’ve been waiting for this a long time. I recently re-read Angels & Demons, and I realized after I was done, that I pictured Tom Hanks as Robert the entire time. I guess that means I like him in the part.

Angels & Demons unravels religion on May 15th! Check out the new TV spot below!

LEGO Star CruiserIt’s a trap! Thomas Benedikt has created Admiral Ackbar’s star cruiser from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

He used over 30,000 LEGO blocks, and took 11 months to build it. Not only that; he took it to a “hoe nuva level”. The ship even has LED lights throughout, giving it a realistic look against a starry backdrop. You can read all the specific build details here.

Check out some awesome pictures of the ship lit up, and in closer detail below…

We’ve all seen videos of people making LEGO “things” before, but this is just crazy. Watch these LEGO people build themselves a LEGO Millennium Falcon.

Flickr user Legohaulic, an obvious LEGO fanatic and movie buff, has created one of the best LEGO creations I’ve ever seen. Sure, it’s not as complex as some big star ship or battle scene, but it’s still a great job.

Check out this gallery to see some more photos.
