comparison – Geekstir

In the time between Back to the Future and Back to the Future: Part II, the role of Marty McFly’s girlfriend had been recast, putting Elisabeth Shue in the part. The scene from the end of Back to the Future was reshot, and the result is the beginning of Back to the Future: Part II. Here they are, compared.

Wow. As a Wii and Xbox 360 owner, this video makes me sad. I love my 360, I love my Wii(sometimes), but this is ridiculous.

If you can afford a Wii, you can afford a 360, so go get one. This has to be one of the worst game downgrades ever. Usually ports are an upgrade. Less zombies, no driving, no camera, horrible graphics, and you can’t even cut people in half with a katana! What the hell is up with that? Did they not want to show that on the Wii, or did they just not take the time to make the animations?

So, missing gameplay features, and not so beautiful graphics; I have to recommend that Wii owners only buy this game if you have the money to blow, and you absolutely don’t want to invest in something worth the money…like an Xbox 360.

Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop, for the Wii, is out now. Dead Rising for the Xbox 360 is also out now; it has been for more than 2 years. Dead Rising 2 is coming out for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, but no release date is set yet. Do yourself a favor, and get the Xbox now, so you can play the REAL Dead Rising, and Dead Rising 2 when it comes out.

I don’t know about you guys, but I can’t see much difference. Sure, all the Sony fanboys will say the PS3 looks better, and all the Xbox fanboys will say the 360 looks better. I see a little difference at the end of the video, during the cut scene, and it looks like the 360 side of the video is a little better. Who can really tell though? The comparison is made using the demo on each system. Resident Evil 5 hits shelves on March 5th in Japan, and March 13th in North America.
