The Superman logo (aka S shield) is the iconic emblem for the fictional superhero Superman. It is also informally referred to as the “S” shield. As a representation of the first superhero, it served as a template for character design decades after Superman’s first appearance. The tradition of wearing a representative symbol on the chest was mimicked by many subsequent superheroes, including Batman, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Green Lantern, the Flash and many others. – Wikipedia
Heath Ledger has won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor; for his portrayal of The Joker in the The Dark Knight.
I’m glad to see Heath Ledger win this award. It’s definitely well deserved. Just because The Dark Knight was a comic book movie doesn’t make it less significant than Slumdog Millionaire, Milk, or The Reader. Ledger took the role and made it what it is. The Joker can never be played again without comparison to what Ledger did.
Congratulations Heath, and rest in peace.

That’s it. The console war is officially over. Everybody is now good friends and joyful. Check out these happy little comics; click to enlarge.
20th Century Fox has released three glorious new TV spots for the upcoming Wolverine movie. Make sure you watch them all. I’m glad Scott Summers (Cyclops) is in this movie, even though he probably won’t be a main character or have a major role. Cyclops has always been one of my favorite X-Men, and I can’t believe they killed him off in the crappy 3rd X-Men movie. Come on! He’s the leader of the X-Men, after Xavier of course. Watch the 2nd and 3rd new TV spots after the break.
