IE6 Sucks

I hope I’m not the only person laughing at this comic. As a web designer, I’ve had many nights frustrated, on the verge of tears because of that damn browser. It just hates people. It destroys dreams. It mocks with it’s lack of web standard compliance! Damn you IE6.

Now all this guy needs to do is find a girlfriend who likes X-Men, or at the very least, find a girl who likes Hugh Jackman, and is willing to settle on him and his homemade claws.

Check out another video below to see the construction of the claws, and some styrofoam ass kicking.

SuperheroesObviously superheroes aren’t fighting crime all day and night. They have jobs, chores, hobbies, desires…

Here are some rare photos of our favorite heroes, doing what they do, when they’re not stopping super villains, saving the world, and making big box office movies.

Check out the photos below; click to enlarge…

Flickr User fengschwing took out all of his Superman action figures, took pictures of them, and then created this amazing image. Now for a little history of Superman’s “S” Shield:

The Superman logo (aka S shield) is the iconic emblem for the fictional superhero Superman. It is also informally referred to as the “S” shield. As a representation of the first superhero, it served as a template for character design decades after Superman’s first appearance. The tradition of wearing a representative symbol on the chest was mimicked by many subsequent superheroes, including Batman, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Green Lantern, the Flash and many others. – Wikipedia

ledgeroscar1Heath Ledger has won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor; for his portrayal of The Joker in the The Dark Knight.

I’m glad to see Heath Ledger win this award. It’s definitely well deserved. Just because The Dark Knight was a comic book movie doesn’t make it less significant than Slumdog Millionaire, Milk, or The Reader. Ledger took the role and made it what it is. The Joker can never be played again without comparison to what Ledger did.

Congratulations Heath, and rest in peace.
