Spock SackboyWith all the Sackboy creations so far, it was only a matter of time before a Star Trek got it’s turn. Just in time for the new Star Trek movie hitting theaters on May 8th.

This might be one of the only times you’ll ever see a smile associated with anything related to Spock. As we all know, Spock is a Vulcan, and is driven by logic, not emotion.

LEGO Star CruiserIt’s a trap! Thomas Benedikt has created Admiral Ackbar’s star cruiser from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

He used over 30,000 LEGO blocks, and took 11 months to build it. Not only that; he took it to a “hoe nuva level”. The ship even has LED lights throughout, giving it a realistic look against a starry backdrop. You can read all the specific build details here.

Check out some awesome pictures of the ship lit up, and in closer detail below…

zoidberg1

Remember the sea monster, the Kraken, from Pirates of the Caribbean 2? The one that swallowed Captain Jack Sparrow and destroyed the Black Pearl at the end? Well…that was Zoidberg.

I guess Zoidberg was fed up with eating garbage, being discriminated against because of his stink gland, and having his freedoms taken away on Freedom Day.

If you were a kid back in the 1990’s, as I was, you remember Pokemon very well. It was a card game, it was an epic Gameboy game, it was an awesome TV show, it was on your clothes, your school backpack, and it was on your mind 24 hours a day. Remember Diglett, that cute little Pokemon that pops out the ground? Ever wonder what the rest of Diglett, underground,  looked like?

r2d2crochet2 Look at the cute little shiny eye lens. Look at the cute little buttons and slots. Look at the cute little legs and feet. This is without a doubt, the cutest crochet I’ve ever seen.

Okay; no more using the word “cute”.
