Here are two brand new gameplay videos for Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles! This game is a follow up to Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, and is also an “on rails”, arcade style shooter. You don’t control the characters movement, you just shoot, reload, pickup items, and use your knife. Perfect for the Wii and the Wiimote. Darkside Chronicles takes you through the stories of Resident Evil 2, probably the best Resident Evil game ever, and Resident Evil: Code Veronica. Check out another video below!

Gaming Hamster

What happens you have a hamster, a papercraft arcade game, and a camera? Internet gold is what you’ve got. Not only do you need a papercraft arcade cabinet that’s just the perfect size for a hamster, you also need an awesome hamster who has the instinct to sit at it and play it. This hamster is a natural gamer. He’s probably related to the Ninja Hamster.

A pretty cool stop motion video of all the best classic arcade games recreated with LEGO blocks. As I was watching this video, I couldn’t keep the song “Tom Sawyer” by Rush out of my head. Futurama’s fault.

This is a music video for the song “Happy Up Here”, by a band called Röyksopp. This is one awesome video; enjoy it.

donkeykongjrshower1I think it’s safe to assume that this is the coolest shower ever. I mean, how many custom designed gaming showers could there be? Thanks to Flickr User MissVynilos for the great photos and artwork. -technabob

Decent trailer. I would have liked to see some new gameplay footage though. Watch a much more exciting Tekken 6 trailer HERE.

Battlefield 1943 is being released on the Xbox Live Arcade, PSN, and on PC as a downloadable game.

I really wish they’d make this a full game though. I was addicted to Battlefield 1942 for years, and the online play is still thriving, even though it’s been out since 2002. So this video shows the basic gameplay; you spawn, you kill, you die, you respawn, kill some more, and repeat. The game is pretty much just a graphical upgrade for Battlefield 1942, along with some new gameplay features like melee, destructible buildings, and unlimited ammo.

Expect to download this beauty sometime this Summer.

Namco is remaking the classic arcade game, Splatterhouse, and here’s the trailer that premiered at the NYC Comic-Con.

Splatterhouse is set to come out on April 29th, for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
