Footage of a Space Shuttle Take Off

How lucky do you have to be to get to do this for a living? Space is awesome. It's really too bad about NASA budget cuts...The search for life is so intriguing, why would anybody be against it? I can see why religious people might not like NASA; because they don't want their religion to be proven wrong with science or whatever, but come on! Exploring the universe is the future. If we don't do it, and expand our reach, who knows what could happen? Earth can't last forever.

I dont think its so much that science might disprove a religion, since i cant really think why it would. The only thing i have against it is the enormous amounts of fuel they have to burn to get into space. Like you said, earth wont last forever. Im all for exploration of space. I just think we should try and find a better way to do it first.
