Jesus, what a load of geeks on this forum, too much geekyness for the senses.
Black Thunder on November 18th, 2007, 8:11 am
You guys are so funny. Anally criticizing other geeks just so you can sound cool and think you know web page languages better than other people.
avoncalling on November 7th, 2007, 9:00 pm

you know, if war itself could close itself it would. but in this case, the war NEVER closes itself so we have to close it, therefore his syntax is correct.

EDIT
Should the sign not read.... <war/>
Hutch on October 23rd, 2007, 8:40 am
Should it not read as in a self closing tag.....
tang on October 14th, 2007, 10:51 am
I think a geek would just see this as the closing war tag, making the html/xml syntactically correct and thus interpreted correctly by the browser.
Pi on October 14th, 2007, 7:29 am
Sad thing is, no matter which language you use, Bush and cohorts do not know that language.
Kristen on October 14th, 2007, 12:29 am
I've always suggested I might be a geek. When I first saw the pic I laughed and thought it was a cute way to get a message across. Since I realized right away what it was supposed to mean then I must be a geek. My suspicions have been proved true hehe.
Kyle on October 10th, 2007, 9:28 pm
There is an opening tag, Bush opened this guy wants it closed. It's that simple.
emil on October 2nd, 2007, 11:00 am
html all the way:)
basic_string on September 30th, 2007, 3:28 pm
As a single-tag node, he may be saying there should be no child nodes under war, meaning (in his brain) no war.
John: Are you perhaps thinking of <war/>?
