LOLOL... I passed this driving down Jefferson in Playa Vista last night around midnight and didn't stop laughing out loud until I got to Venice Beach. But I gotta give the creator props. I was wondering what it would be like if R2 actually contained a keg of beer. "R2, fill me up." Now THAT would be mad cool.

It's an A-wing.

And yes, I realize that A-wings don't have a place for a droid, but I would suspect it's a modified A-wing, as it has the structure an weapons of one, but with discerning features from an X-wing.

But the shape says A-wing.
