Here is the new trailer for EA’s Battlefield 1943. If you’re like me, and played Battlefield 1942, and still do, you’re definitely looking forward to this. It’s basically Battlefield 1942 with updated graphics, some new gameplay techniques, and an awesome looking rehash of a great game.
In BF1943, you can play on some of the classic maps from BF1942 like Iwo Jima and Wake Island. The game supports up to 24 players online, and is hitting the PSN and XBLA this June, for $15. PC gamers can get it sometime in September.
This is a definite buy for me. Battlefield 1942 holds a spot close to my heart, and I’m sure 1943 will be even better.
Warner Bros. has officially released two more new photos from Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
Half Blood Prince is the sixth movie in the series, and continues to make the story and the Wizarding World more mature and serious. It’s not all about school, charms, and potions anymore. The Wizarding World is in jeopardy of being overrun by Voldemort and his followers of dark wizards, the Death Eaters. Dumbledore finally reveals Harry’s true purpose, and sets him on his path to save the world, and live out his prophecy as being The Chosen One.
In the latest from the Angry Video Game Nerd, James reviews The Odyssey. It’s pretty much a board game with little plastic sheets that stick to your tv screen. I wonder how you make those work on widescreen flat panels…I guess the makers didn’t care about future gamers. I guess you can call original Odyssey buyers “gamers”.
In case you missed it, here is last night’s episode of Heroes, titled, “I am Sylar”. This is the second to last episode of season 3.
So it looks like Sylar is having a little identity crisis now that he is shape shifting and taking other people’s lives. How many times will we have to see Sylar’s struggle to find himself? Rebel returns, Hiro and Ando attempt to bring down the government and Danko’s team, and Sylar takes on a bigger role.
This episode was much better than last week’s boring “1961″. The preview for the season finale was especially good. The finale, or at least the preview for it, promises big and important things. I really hope none of my favorite characters die. Watch “I am Sylar” below…
HBO has released 3 brand new promotional posters for the second season of their hit vampire show, True Blood.
True Blood had a 12 episode premiere season last year, and became HBO’s biggest show since The Sopranos and Sex and the City. It’s one of my favorite TV shows, and I’m definitely looking forward to it’s return. A couple weeks ago, the first photos from Season 2 were released, check those out here.
True Blood Season 2 starts on June 14th! Take a look at the new promo posters below…
20th Century Fox has released some new character profiles introducing us to a few of the mutants in the Wolverine movie.
This movie chronicles Wolverine’s life, as a kid, as an adult, and as a mutant who doesn’t age and has the ability to heal. Not to mention he has some bad ass claws.
We see him live through World Wars, we see him survive generations, we see him get his shiny adamantium claws, and we see the life in which he has forgotten about in the X-Men movies.
That’s right. I’ve used an unforgivable curse. Sue me.Warner Bros has released 4 new character posters for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince featuring it’s new release date and of course, the characters.
In case you haven’t heard, Half Blood Prince has been pushed forward, and now opens on Wednesday, July 15th, instead of Friday, July 17th. Also, in case you missed it, check out the epic new trailer.
For all the fans of the show, don’t forget to watch Heroes tonight! Tonight’s episode is the last episode before the season finale, and is titled, “I am Sylar”. I think it’s easy for us to assume this is going to be a Sylar heavy episode, which is always good.
Last week’s episode was just plain horrible. The entire episode was spent looking at Angela Petrelli’s past, learning about her sister. I’m not sure why we had to learn about her, I’m pretty sure she is irrelevant to the future of Heroes. Let’s hope these final two episodes of season 3 are good enough to leave us hanging on for season 4.
