In the latest video from The Angry Video Game Nerd, James reviews some classic X-Men and Wolverine games. As usual, they aren’t good, and he lets us know it.

You better check yourself…before you trek yourself. I’m proud to say I understood all the references made in this video. Where’s my Trek cred?

Thanks to Kate from Atom.com for sending in the tip.

Also, don’t forget to go see Star Trek this Friday!

Lost on ABCFor all the fans of the show, don’t forget to watch Lost tonight!

Tonight’s episode is titled, “Follow the Leader”, and is the 15th episode of season 5. “Jack and Kate are at odds over the direction to take to save their fellow island survivors, and Locke further solidifies his stance as leader of “The Others.”

After tonight, there are only two episodes left, and they’re both being aired next week, in a 2 hour season finale. It’s hard to believe this season is already over; it seems like it just started.

Watch 6 Clips from “Follow the Leader”, and don’t forget to watch the episode tonight, at 9PM EST, on ABC!

Now all this guy needs to do is find a girlfriend who likes X-Men, or at the very least, find a girl who likes Hugh Jackman, and is willing to settle on him and his homemade claws.

Check out another video below to see the construction of the claws, and some styrofoam ass kicking.

This is the first TV spot for the second season of True Blood. I’m definitely tired of waiting for the show to return, but there’s still over a month to wait. Season 2 starts on June 14th!

X-Men Origins: WolverineSurprise? Probably not. Even with an unfinished version of the movie leaked to the internet last month, Wolverine still dominated the weekend’s box office numbers, and clearly wasn’t affected by piracy. People love mutants, people love X-Men, people love Hugh Jackman; it’s not hard to see why people went to see this movie.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine topped the charts this weekend with $87 million! I think we can say the movie is a success. Obviously the movie is still going to make much, much more money before leaving theaters. I think this gives a good sign to 20th Century Fox to hurry up and get X-Men Origins: Magneto into theaters.

Though Wolverine had a great opening weekend, with all the other big movies coming out this Summer, I doubt that’s going to be the highest opening weekend number we see.

May the 4th be with you. Star Wars DayIt’s May 4th, and that can only mean it’s the unofficial Star Wars Day! Why? Isn’t it obvious? Because “May the 4th” sounds like “May the force”, that’s why! There really doesn’t need to be another reason.

So in honor of Star Wars Day, here are some past Star Wars posts on Geekstir:

- Miniature Battle of Hoth

- Video: Chewbacca Trapped in a Nightstand

- Video: Star Wars retold by somebody who’s never seen it.

May the 4th be with you!

Harry Potter and the Half Blood PrinceWith all the big movies coming out this Summer, I’m betting Half Blood Prince is going to be the biggest. Wolverine came out yesterday, Star Trek comes out next Friday, Angels & Demons on the 15th, Terminator Salvation on the 21st, and then Transformers 2 on June 24th followed by Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince on July 15th. I know there are other good movies coming out, but those are the big names of the Summer, and I’m guessing Harry Potter will make the most money. Let’s hope it lives up to the book.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince casts a spell on us on July 15th! Check out the new posters below!
