I think the original Kong was a bit smaller than all the later updates. Especially the “King Kong vs. Godzilla” Kong. Looks like they both would just be a tasty treat for Gojira or Clover though.

Way off. Biggest monster is that six legged creature at the end of Stephen King’s “The Mist”. That thing would squash clover under one foot.

Also in the recent movie “Monsters”, I am sure they would compete with Clover in size.

Well, according to Wikipedia, Clover is described as being about 25 stories tall. A story is approximately 10 feet. So, this would make Clover approximately 250 feet tall. Godzilla ranges from 164 to 328 feet tall. In movies spanning the ’84 to ’89 series of Godzilla films to the ’00 to ’04 series of Godzilla films, these are the tallest he’s been, at 328 feet tall. So, yeah, depending on which Godzilla it is one wants to refer to, Godzilla would be bigger. But, then again, Clover is supposedly just a baby. They’d better boost the size of Godzilla if he’s ever planning on going up against mom and pop Clover.

Godzilla in the pic looks like the leaner Showa Era version, which was 50 m = 164 ft, rather than the bulked-up Heisei version, which was twice that height, so the height is accurate. Adult Rancors can be 10m = 22 ft tall, so the one in the pic is a bit on the tall side, but not too far off. Kong is supposed to be 18 ft tall, so he’s right on the money.

These monsters all suck. The monsters in Stephen King’s The Waste Lands of the Dark Tower series, the ones in the last picture titled Prancing and Cavorting, were half the height of the Alp mountains.

Why are all of them the wrong size?

As much as I love Godzilla (the original one, not the US dinosaur-like thing), the Behemoth (six legged creature) from the Mist is as large as Godzilla. Of course, if you look at the details, Godzilla is a two legged creature, while the Behemoth has six legs, therefore it is bigger than Godzilla, or should I say larger? Clover from Cloverfield maybe is a baby, but grown-up Clover has never been showed to us, so, yeah, Godzilla would kick his ass. I don’t even want to compare those with Kraken :)
