BUT! Good news. Geekstir will be relaunched within a couple weeks. An exact date is not determined, but I guarantee it will be soon, at least before the middle of September. Most of these can be made using things around your own house, so have some fun trying to make your own. Submit more geeky Halloween pictures using the "Submit a New Story" button at the top of the page.

First off, thank
Engadget for all news regarding the Apple live event today. They are keeping me as well as most of the internet updated on all new news.
Quick little announcement:
The keynote event is now online, head over to Apple.com and watch it, or just click
HERE.
Announcements(so far):
-Touch Screen iPod, so cleverly named the "iPod Touch"
-80GB iPod down from $350 to $250
-160GB iPod for $350
-New iPod Nano Design
-4GB Nano for $149, 8GB for $199
-Red iPod Shuffle
-iTunes Music Store via WIFI - Buy music using your iPod
-iPhone ringtones, and custom ringtone maker
-iPhone pricecut to $399 down from $599
News just in that the iPhone now costs $399. I'm sure anybody who bought an iPhone yesterday is really pissed off.
Again, thanks to
Engadget for all the news they're pumping out from the live event. Make sure you go over to Engadget to read more details on this summary of announcements.
Just a quick note. There was a story about the new nano a few weeks ago, and the spy photos didn't look too good. But seeing Steve hold it changed my mind.
