Wow. This episode was amazing. If you’re not into Heroes, I suggest you get into it. Go back and watch season 1 and 2, then continue onto season 3, which is currently still airing.

This episode is titled, “Cold Snap”, and is the 20th episode of season 3. Some pretty big things happened in this episode. Two heroes are now possibly dead, Rebel is revealed, more Heroes are on the run, the government is out for blood, and some powers are revealed and returned.

If you don’t want to see any spoilers, stop reading now…

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SPOILERS BELOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, if you’re reading this, you’re aware spoilers are ahead, and have either already seen the episode, or just don’t care.

Tracey Strauss breaks out of captivity, so do Matt Parkman, Suresh, and Daphne. Daphne is infected from being shot, and Matt and Suresh take her to the hospital. Tracey goes on her own and meets up with rebel, who is finally revealed to be Micah. I was happy to see Micah return. I used to hate watching his scenes, but now he is older, and on the run, and using his power to save other heroes.

The government agents catch up with Tracey and Micah, then Tracey tells Micah to use his powers to turn on the sprinkler system in the parking garage. He does, then he runs for his life. Tracey stays behind, and is surrounded by the agents. Now this, is when the show goes epic and sad all at once. Tracey goes uber powerful and ices the entire garage, freezing all the agents, as well as herself. Danko walks up to her frozen body, and shoots her, breaking her into hundreds of peices. Right before the scene ends, you see Trace’ys frozen face, and her eye blinks. Now I think she might still be alive. Since her power is ice and freezing, I think she might be able to reform, sort of like Sandman from Spider-Man. I hope that’s the case, I would hate to see Ali Larter leave the show after 3 seasons.

Throughout the episode, we see Matt and Daphne, back to normal after Daphne wakes up in the hospital. It turns out, she never really woke up. She was dieing, so Matt went inside her head, and made her believe she was awake and healthy. When Matt finds Daphne in Paris, he can now fly, and takes her over Paris. Daphne then realizes it must be a dream, because Matt does not have the power of flight. He says he’s sorry, but she’s happy. She’s happy he gave her one last good dream. The scene cuts to Matt holding onto Daphne’s hand, who is in the hospital bed, dieing. Her heart rate monitor flat lines, and she dies. This, for me atleast, was very sad. I liked her character, and she is smoking hot too.

Now, onto Ando and Hiro. They are at the house of Matt Parkman’s wife and baby. They find out the baby has a power, just like his daddy. I’m not sure what the power is, but he can power electric devices just by touching them. The government agents show up, and surround Hiro, Ando, and the baby. Ando uses his power and delivers a hadouken like blast to one of the gunmen. This is the first time he’s done that with his power, other than the time we saw him do it in the future. They beat down Ando, then…time stops! Yes! Time stops! Hiro finally has his power back! The baby touched him, and some how fixed him. Hiro stopped time, but could not teleport, so he put Ando’s frozen in time body on a wheelbarrow, and rolled him to saftey. Now all I want to see is that baby touch Peter, and fix his power.

So, now that Danko knows Nathan can fly, Peter has power, and Angela Petrelli is their mother, he’s after her. She avoids them for a while, but they finally catch up with her. Peter shows up and flys her to safety. The episode ends with Peter asking her, “What do we do now?”

So that’s about it. It was a very good, and very sad episode.

Heroes airs on Monday nights at 9PM EST, on NBC.

Cool episode. Too bad there was no Sylar or Claire though. Kinda sad that Daphne and Tracy died too. Oh well, they'll probably add another Ali Larter sister to the mix. Hope all you guys got a chance to catch this episode. For those of you who missed it, I watched it online here...
