Heath Ledger Wins Oscar for Best Supporting Actor

ledgeroscar1Heath Ledger has won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor; for his portrayal of The Joker in the The Dark Knight.

I’m glad to see Heath Ledger win this award. It’s definitely well deserved. Just because The Dark Knight was a comic book movie doesn’t make it less significant than Slumdog Millionaire, Milk, or The Reader. Ledger took the role and made it what it is. The Joker can never be played again without comparison to what Ledger did.

Congratulations Heath, and rest in peace.

    They just gave it to him because he died, I’m not saying his acting wasn’t good just that he shouldn’t have been nominated.
    A honorable mention would have been okay.
