Though possible (but extremely difficult), I think the artist may have just opened the back of the etch-a-sketch, drew it with some sort of etching tool, put the back on again, and the image would appear as he drew it (aside from it being reversed). Anyway, it’s still pretty damn cool….props to the artist. Oh yeah, and if it was done with the Etch-a-sketch alone, then this guys has insane skillzzzz.

Would’ve been more impressive if done on a full-size Etch-a-Sketch.

I think it’s black magic marker drawn on the screen. Considering the small (but present) silver border between the picture and the red plastic frame. That and lines are darker in some areas. I still think it’s cool tho.

If you’ve ever used an etch-a-sketch before, you’d know that it’s kind of hard to get exactly on the edge.
This is not fake. There are people called “artists” out there.

Are u a moron? How is it that for every impressive image on the net there always some muppet who claims its photoshopped? As for the reflections, if u mean where the light is shinning on the etchasketch at the top left and a smaller bit at the right, they look as they would with any etchasketch board and they line up perfectly, so whats the problem? Look at the details, what u could and could not do with an etchasketch (and heres the good bit) if u had *skill*. Theres plenty of excellent etchasketch images on the net so why is this automatically shopped?
