Finally! The Force Unleashed has been given a release date! No longer will we use our Wiimotes as something other than a lightsaber! No longer will our Wii sit untouched and not played with! Rejoice with your Wii! Now we have a reason to play with our Wii! Ok...ok...enough Wii jokes.

Here is a quote from the press release earlier today from LucasArts:

"San Francisco, Calif. – April 3, 2008 – LucasArts today announced that its highly anticipated videogame Star Wars®: The Force Unleashed™ will be released on September 16, 2008 in the United States, September 17 in Southeast Asia and Australia, and September 19 in Europe."
