It is confirmed that Spider-Man: Web of Shadows will be released for all current platforms. Looks like Wii owners get to have some fun too! The game will be free roaming, and you will be able to influence direction and outcome, as well as ally yourself with other characters from the Marvel Universe. So, it's like Fable for the Marvel Universe. Sounds good to me. Not much detail is out for the game yet, but as you can clearly see in the trailer, something bad happened.
The Web of Shadows website says we'll be able to choose who we want to ally with or fight against. If I see Venom and Carnage running around, will I be able to help them cause mass destruction? I hope so. I wonder if other main Marvels will be in the game, like Hulk, or Iron Man, or any of the X-Men. Maybe they should of just called the game, "Marvel Universe: World of Shadows", so we could play with all the heroes and villains.
The only word on a release date is Q3 for 2008. But, if you check out the Web of Shadows website, there is a countdown clock at the top. Right now, it reads 6 days, 1 hour, 24 minutes. Is this the countdown for the release? How can you have a countdown clock but not tell what it's for?
This trailer came out a couple weeks back. The movie trailer looked amazing, and will probably be one of the biggest movies of the summer. In my opinion, video games from movies usually suck, but I'm actually looking forward to this one and Iron Man. The only problem I have with this trailer is it looks like the fighting might get repetitive, and it also looks like a lot of random robot fighting like there was in Spider-Man 2. I say "like Spider-Man 2" because I never bothered to buy Spider-Man 3. The graphics look pretty damn good too. The Incredible Hulk movie and video game are coming to us in June 2008.
I'm not too sure about this one. I'm looking forward to the new Hellboy movie, but this trailer doesn't amaze me at all. The graphics don't look as good as other superhero games coming out, like Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk games. It's too early to tell for me...the trailer doesn't give a lot of gameplay footage. Will you buy this game?
Before you get too excited, there will be NO fatalities in this game. So no ripping Batman's head off or anything like that. I really can't believe this game is coming out. It's pretty random, and obviously very similar to Mavel vs Capcom. Too bad their isn't a Marvel vs DC game...It'll be weird to see Superman getting beat without Kryptonite. Looks like the Wii is getting left out again. Makes me ask the question again, "Why do companies decide to keep their games off the best selling console?" In my mind, the more people with the system, the more people to buy your game.
