ATTENTION: To all the readers and fans of Geekstir, I am sorry for the lack of updates over the past 2 months. Due to personal reasons and obligations, the site has been on autopilot for a while. BUT! Good news. Geekstir will be relaunched within a couple weeks. An exact date is not determined, but I guarantee it will be soon, at least before the middle of September. A forum poster at Something Awful, who goes by the name, "The Fuzzy Hulk", painted his son's nursery with a Winnie the Pooh theme. When his kid turned 5, they decided it was time for a change. They wanted to manly superhero art in place out that wimpy Winnie. Here are some photos from start to finish, Pooh to Superheroes.
Covering up the Pooh, and drawing on the superheroes, here is what the dad says:
"My son is 5 now, so I decided it was time for an UPGRADE. I was thinking of rampaging dinosaurs... but at his request we switched over to Superheroes!
I slapped on some white to make it easier to sketch, and then drew on some of his favorites."
