It’s common knowledge that James Earl Jones in the voice of Darth Vader, but originally, the voice was that of David Prowse, the actor who wore the suit in the movies. Imagine what would have become of Star Wars if they hadn’t dubbed in the voice of James Earl Jones. I doubt a muffled voice with a British accent could have become one of the most recognizable voices in the world and claimed the role of the most famous movie villain of all time. Yes, it’s really a movie. If you’re not familiar with MacGruber, it’s a skit from Saturday Night Live. I wonder what they’ll make next. An hour and a half movie of nonstop Andy Sandberg musical skits? I’d watch that.

I think this short trailer alone looks better than most of the Marvel movies in the past decade. Not that they were all bad, but this is Iron Man 2! Iron Man 2 dammit! Scarlett Johansson deliciousness, Tony Stark badassery, and an Iron Man and War Machine team up; this trailer is epic.

This clip is from Marvel’s Kick-Ass. Just a masked avenger dad teaching his masked avenger daughter how to take a bullet. I think Nicolas Cage is officially cool again…or maybe for the first time. I kind of liked that movie Face/Off. He had his face taken off…and replaced with another guy’s face! Kick-Ass hits theaters on April 16, 2010!

The first trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! Deathly Hallows is being split into two movies, and this is the teaser trailer for Part I, which is hitting theaters on November 19th, 2010, followed by Part II on July 15th, 2011. The video starts with a First Look Featurette, followed by the trailer.

The Vanilla Ice Ninja Turtle rap from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, from 1991. I love this movie, but it also reminds me of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3. Time traveling Ninja Turtles? What were they thinking?!?

Daybreakers is set to open on January 8th, 2010. If you haven’t seen it yet, watch the first Daybreakers trailer that came out a few months ago.

Toy Story 3 hits theaters on June 18th, 2010!

Family Guy: Something Something Something Darkside parodies The Empire Strikes Back, and is the sequel to Family Guy: Blue Harvest, which parodied the first Star Wars movie. All the Family Guy and Star Wars references you could ever want. The AT-AT doing the hurt knee thing; priceless. Something, Something, Something, Darkside is being released on DVD and Blu-ray on December 22nd!

I’m not sure if this is awesome, or a total lack of respect for the divide of the Trek and the Wars. This is real though. The Star Trek DVD came out yesterday, so I put it in to check and make sure this wasn’t photoshopped. It took me a while to find the exact scene, but when I saw it, needless to say, some bricks were excreted. The R2-D2 cameo happens around the 47:39 mark, but it goes so fast, so unless you have a slow motion button, you might miss it.

Kick-Ass is the adaptation of the Kick-Ass comic book series written by Mark Millar, who has also worked on the Ultimates series, and Marvel Civil War. Kick-Ass started in April of 2008, so it hasn’t even been out for two full years, and it’s already being made into a movie. I’m always down for a new superhero movie, unless it’s that one that’s actually called Superhero Movie.

Kick-Ass hits theaters on April 16th, 2010!

Man versus Kings. Kings versus Gods. Gods versus Gods. Sounds about epic. Clash of the Titans is set to open in theaters on March 26th, 2010!

I’m not sure about this. I’ve never played a Prince of Persia game, but I have seen that movie Bubble Boy. Such a great film. With acting skills like that, any movie with Jake Gyllenhaal should be good. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time hits theaters on May 28th.

This is the second trailer for the long awaited Toy Story 3. The first teaser trailer came out back in May. Toy Story 3 opens in theaters on July 18th, 2010. Still so long away…

Check out this new 5 minute clip from the movie 2012. Enjoy it and all of it’s end of the world epicness. From the super limo to the plane dodging falling buildings to all the people falling to their deaths into the depths of the Earth; this clip is definitely entertaining enough to watch at least once. 2012 hits theaters on November 13th.

This is the first trailer for the Nightmare on Elm Street reboot. Anybody else notice the lack of Robert Englund? A Nightmare on Elm Street is currently set for release on April 30th, 2010.

Julie Benz from Dexter is looking hotter than ever. If you’re a fan of the first movie, you’ve probably been waiting for this sequel for a long time. Well, the wait is over. Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day hits theaters on October 30th!

Zombieland hits theaters on October 2nd!

Here’s something for all you “team Jacob” fans out there. This new New Moon trailer features some commentary from Taylor Lautner, the actor who plays Jacob Black, and shows some new footage that wasn’t in the first trailer. Probably not enough for all the hardcore fans, but it’ll have to hold you over until the next trailer comes out.

If you’re living under a rock, you don’t know that District 9 hit theaters yesterday. I went to see it first thing in the morning, and in my opinion, it definitely lives up to all the hype and positive reviews that it’s been getting online. It’s easily the best movie I’ve seen this Summer, quite possibly this year. So, if you haven’t seen it yet, check out this clip from the beginning of the movie.

Yes, you read the title right. This is a 14 second preview of the new New Moon trailer that’s yet to come out. So what this is, is a trailer for a trailer. Hey, I’m sure if you’re a Twilight/New Moon fan, this is still enough to get you all giddy and excited, so enjoy, and be sure to check back for the full trailer when it hits.

There can never be enough zombie movies; never! I’m not sure which is funnier, the trailer, or the fact that Woody Harrelson is the main zombie killing badass.

I hope this movie can live up to the king of zombie parodies, Shaun of the Dead. Even though Shaun of the Dead was funny, it was a real zombie horror movie as well in my opinion. A guy had his guts eaten and limbs ripped off! Then his girlfriend fought off zombies with his severed limb! There’s absolutely nothing funny about that.

Ever wonder which movie monster is the biggest? Well wonder no more! I’m not surprised to learn the biggest is the thing from Cloverfield; that thing was epic. I am surprised to see how small the T-Rex from Jurassic Park is though. Compared to the other monsters, it looks like a baby. Click on the picture to enlarge.

9 takes place in a post apocalyptic world where humanity has been destroyed by machines. All that’s left are 9 fully animated rag dolls created by a scientist before the downfall of the humans. Sort of like Terminator meets LittleBigPlanet.

These two clips are camera versions from San Diego Comic-Con, and are pretty bad quality. I know that won’t stop all the fans from watching them over and over again though. Other than the quality, you have to try and listen over the mass of screaming girls. So, good luck with that. When high quality clips come online, I’ll repost them. Check out the second clip below.

Ninja Assassin is set for release on November 15th!

In the time between Back to the Future and Back to the Future: Part II, the role of Marty McFly’s girlfriend had been recast, putting Elisabeth Shue in the part. The scene from the end of Back to the Future was reshot, and the result is the beginning of Back to the Future: Part II. Here they are, compared.

A Japanese television show held a contest with 10,000 of Japan’s biggest Harry Potter fans. The biggest, or strangest fan won a trip to the UK to visit the set of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Little did she know, she would also get to interview Danielle Radcliffe (Harry Potter), and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley). I can’t really explain what happens when she’s surprised by Harry and Ron, you just have to watch for yourself. I’m not at all ashamed to admit, I may have reacted in a similar way.

In this deleted scene, we finally find out why the T-800 model Terminator looks and sounds the way it does. This scene was made for the Terminator 3 video game, but was actually included on the Terminator 3 movie DVD. Now we know why the Terminators have an Austrian accent. The southern accent would have made them funny, not intimidating. Maybe if this scene was actually in the movie, people would have liked it better; or maybe not. Watch and enjoy.

A pretty ridiculous move; a Harry Potter fan will see the movie whenever it comes out, snow or sunshine. Everybody else will probably not see it. You’re not going to bring in new fans just because it’s Summer; especially when it’s the 6th movie in the series, and you would need to see the first 5 before seeing this.

Okay, okay, I was angry for months, but I’m happy now. I’m really anxious actually. Half Blood Prince was definitely one of the best of the 7 books, and I hope the movie lives up to it. I know it won’t, but maybe it can still be good. The previous 5 movies were no where near as good as the books, I still liked them though. I’ve been a fan for nearly 10 years, I can’t stop now. Luckily for me, the books grew more mature and dark as I grew up, so they were never too “kiddy” for me at the point when I read them.

Half Blood Prince and the seventh movie, Deathly Hallows will be a shock to the fans of the movies who haven’t read the books. No more happy, fun, or easy times. It’s war, death, murder, torture, and life after school. Also, if you’re a fan of the movies and haven’t read the books, do yourself a favor and read the books. You’ll never be a true fan until you know the actual story and every chapter.

I’m posting this trailer for one reason, and one reason only. Megan Fox. Not only is there a lot of Megan Fox in this trailer, but Megan Fox is nude in the movie. I’ll go see this movie, for Megan Fox. It is written by Diablo Cody, who wrote Juno, which is a plus. Jennifer’s Body hits theaters on September 18th. Did I mention Megan Fox?

After a near 8 month delay in the release, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince finally hits theaters on July 15th, two weeks away!

Okay, this actually looks pretty awesome. I love vampire movies, I love end of the world kind of stuff, and I love nicely put together trailers. When I say “vampire movies”, I mean real vampire movies. Not Twilight. No offense if you’re a teenage girl.

Daybreakers takes place in the year 2019, and the population of Earth is made up of vampires. he last of the humans are dieing out, thus, taking the blood supply with them.

It’s definitely a unique idea. Instead of humans being the majority, with a few vampires running around killing them, everybody is a vampire, with a few humans running around trying to survive! I’m pretty sure I saw the blood farming thing done in Blade Trinity though…if that can even be considered a legitimate vampire movie.

After watching this trailer, I’m even more impatient for the next episode of True Blood on Sunday.

Daybreakers is set for release on January 8th, 2010.

Moon stars Sam Rockwell as Sam Bell; a man who’s been living on the Moon for 3 years, mining the gas Helium 3. Helium 3 is the answer to Earth’s energy crisis. Sam begins to go crazy after all the time alone. At least, that’s what I gather from the trailer. Don’t look for me to explain anymore. Watch the trailer for Moon here. It’s definitely a trailer you must see.

Moon is set for unfortunately, a limited release in theaters on June 12th in the US, and July 17th in the UK. If you miss it in theaters, you’ll be waiting for the DVD. Check out 4 new clips from the movie below!
