I’ve seen Hello Kitty backpacks, Hello Kitty clothes, Hello Kitty video games, even Hello Kitty tattoos. But I’m not even sure what Hello Kitty is. I know it’s a cat, but where did it come from? Why are people obsessed with a plain white cat that wears a bow on it’s head? Does this “Hello Kitty” do anything special? Does it have superpowers? Does it not crap on your bed when you’re not home? I guess that could be one unique quality about this cat. [kittyhell]

Wait a minute now. Who made these papercrafts? Surely…no; it can’t be. Did actual World of Warcraft players make these? They stopped playing the game for a long enough span of time to accomplish something? It looks to be true. Lots more below…

Blogger Alicia decided to bake up some Futurama Brain Slug cupcakes for a birthday. I guess she was aiming to make a tasty, delicious, snack for the party. Little did she know, these brain slugs would latch onto all the guests and take control. Now all those people do is give out free “hats”.

Craftster user lilninjabear made these Hearthstone pillows for her World of Warcraft addicted brothers. Given that they’re addicted to World of Warcraft, they’ll rarely rest their heads on them. They’re too busy running dungeons and mining and enchanting things. All while drinking Code Red Moutain Dew and eating Hot Pockets of course.

You’re sitting at home, playing your guitar, trying to relax and learn a new song. Out of nowhere, a man in blue overalls and a red hat busts through the front door, grabs the guitar, throws it on the ground, and then jumps on it and smashes it. A few seconds later, his slightly taller and thinner brother comes in and offers you some mushrooms. Then their pet dinosaur raids your fridge, eats all the apples, and leaves a pile on the new rug. That’s what happens when you make a Koopa Troopa guitar. [reddit]

With only a chainsaw and a tree, this guy sculpts the Big Daddy from Bioshock 2. He could probably make a living making and selling these things. I know I’d like to have that Big Daddy on display in my house. The video is a little slow going and long, but if you skip through every few seconds or so, you can see how he transformed a tree into the final product.

We’ve all seen the Cookie Monster get hardcore, but who knew he could pull off cupcakes? I know cupcakes aren’t his snack of choice, but they’ll do for me.

I’d probably feel bad for eating these though. I’ll say it…They’re too cute to eat! Also, the eyes. Who can eat something with it’s eyes looking at you? Sure, they’re edible candy eyes, but still. At least Animal Crackers are so low quality, you can’t see their eyes.

This is an epic gallery of Big Daddy and Little Sister cosplay photos that were taken at the Georgia Aquarium. The man responsible for this is Harrison Krix. He created the Big Daddy suit and Little Sister syringe, and is the actual man in the suit. The Little Sister is his own fiance. Hopefully he can protect her from all those damn splicers. Now, would you kindly check out some more photos below? [geekologie]
