ATTENTION: To all the readers and fans of Geekstir, I am sorry for the lack of updates over the past 2 months. Due to personal reasons and obligations, the site has been on autopilot for a while. BUT! Good news. Geekstir will be relaunched within a couple weeks. An exact date is not determined, but I guarantee it will be soon, at least before the middle of September. All new layout, all new software, all new content. Anybody who wants to say anything, or comment on anything, please leave a comment on the last post on the front page, or send me an email at tips@geekstir.com
What is it with this Hello Kitty thing? I don't even know what it's about. Is it some kind of children's cartoon or something? This is pretty cool though. Nothing like taking a little kitten and putting some vader gear on it. Got a geeky tattoo? Send it to tips@geekstir.com and it might get posted.
Legos and Futurama. Two awesome things. Put them together and get an even more awesome thing. Made by Ochre Jelly, who also made the Lego Steven Hawking, which is now famous on the web.
Tattoos are probably the number one thing people send in to me. That doesn't mean they're not cool though. I always enjoy opening up my inbox to see some gorgeous back fat. If you have some cool geek or gaming tattoos, send to them Geekstir at tips@geekstir.com
Ok, am I the only person who got freaked out when the woman slid her face into the camera view at 1:06 into the video? Major geek cred to her though. This is one of the best geek tats I've seen in a while. I think I'm in love with that arm. Just the arm. Mario + Jedi = Cool.
Check out this amazing drawing. I'm really glad the artist decided to give the Professor his finglonger. That was easily one of the best inventions ever used in the show. If you don't know what a finglonger is, it's the tool on the Professor's hand. Here is a wiki page on the finglonger. Pay your respect to the artist, Space Coyote, over at deviantART.
On an unrelated note. This is Geekstir's 250th post. Woot!
