Geekstir originally began back August of 2007, as a simple video and picture blog. Since then, while keeping up with the latest, funniest, and geekiest videos and pictures, we’ve come to cover a larger variety of things. From movies, gaming and tech, to crafts and cosplay.

When we think of the word “geek”, we don’t just think of a guy…or girl who likes to build computers, work on computers, or whatever other simplistic definition some may have. A geek is somebody who is passionate about something, they enjoy that thing, and are generally interested in anything related to that thing. Everybody is a geek. You might be a car geek, an art geek, a movie geek, a comic geek, a political geek, and yes, even a computer geek. The term “geek” applies to everyone with an interest or a hobby. Is it possible that a person has not one single interest in the whole world? This is the reason why we try to cover as many different things as possible, and are always trying to expand those topics.

With the social media and networking platforms like Facebook and Twitter, we’re able to expand our audience and get more people the things they like.
